Good morning! Hope everyone is enjoying the snow! It’s another cold one here on WB this morning! We’re just past that 6:31am high tide and conditions are coming through around that waist to stomach range occasionally bigger/smaller. The buoy is currently reading 4.3ft @ 4s and the wind is out of the NW/N around ~17 mph. There’s still some swell in the water this AM and things do appear to being lining up much better than yesterday even with those stronger winds. But that high tide isn’t doing us any favors at the moment and conditions are shutting down quick and mostly breaking right on shore. If you are looking to brave the cold, today will be about finding the best window of opportunity. Wind and swell look to gradually decrease throughout the day and paired with a 1:06pm low tide, there’s some potential for a mid to late morning or an early afternoon slot depending on how quickly the swell drops. Optimistically kicking things off at a logo and a half and hopeful a couple windows of opportunity will arise and some bucket list snow sessions can be checked off for a few folks! As always safety is the most important thing! With the wintery weather and cold temps affecting our area, please be careful if you find yourself on the roads or in the water! Have a great Sunday day!
