Saturday Report

Good morning and happy Saturday! Chilly weather here on WB this AM! We’ve just past that 5:41am high tide and conditions are coming through around that shoulder range occasionally bigger/smaller. The buoy is currently reading 6.9ft @ 7s and the wind is out of the NNE/N around ~17 mph. There’s certainly some swell in the water this morning but conditions are tough and that higher tide isn’t doing us any favors at the moment. Faces appear to have a lot of water to them offering less than ideal rides and are mostly breaking right on shore. Those stronger NNE/NE winds have also created some drift to be aware of making patience and being in the right spot a key factor. Could end up being victory at sea but you never know a small window might show up once some of that tide lowers. Just know your limits as safety is the most important thing! Kicking things off at one logo. Low tide is slotted for 12:17pm and wind looks to hold N and pick up some after lunch. Weather could be a factor today! Cold temps and wintery weather are in our area and chances are forecasted to increase throughout the day so please make sure to keep an eye on the radar and have a great day!
