Good morning! The buoy is reading 3.6 ft at 4 seconds out of the northeast, and the waves are running in the knee to thigh high range. They’re breaking pretty soft on the outside and then dumping right on the beach, making things tough out there. A NNW breeze is throwing a good bit of chop on the water as well. The swell is expected to rise through the day and into tomorrow, and while we could see a little more size this afternoon, the increasing NNE wind will keep conditions on the rough side, so keep expectations low. Tomorrow looks more promising as the swell builds and the wind starts to shift offshore.
