Good morning! The buoy is reading 5.2 feet at 5 seconds out of the East, and there’s a thigh to waist high wave breaking. A steady NNE breeze is making conditions choppy. The waves have plenty of water underneath them, though they’re looking a bit soft at times due to the shorter period. As the day goes on, the swell is expected to continue filling in while the NNE wind holds steady. There should be a few promising windows of decent surf, especially later in the day, not perfect, but definitely worth keeping an eye on.
