Sunrise Report

Good morning and happy Saturday! For updates on all things weather, please check out our new weekly detailed surf analysis by expert meteorologist, Mark Willis! As for today, a bit of a cloudy and wet start paired with the annual WB Sprint Triathlon so please be mindful of extra traffic in the area! We are making our way to that 11:48am high tide and conditions appear to be coming through around knee to thigh occasionally bigger/smaller. The buoy is currently reading 2.1ft @ 5s and wind is out of the SSE/SE around ~8 MPH. Smaller waves out there offering some shorter rides. Might be able to find a couple fun cruisey ones this morning or if you’re patient a set wave that offers a little bit more. Best bet for early AM is a foamie or something with a little extra volume to help maximize that fun factor. If you are looking to starting your day off in the water, be sure to scope out a few spots and see if anything is working for you. Optimistically starting the day off at one logo. Swell looks to gradually build throughout the day while wind looks to shift SSW and pick-up some after lunch. The evening low tide is slotted for 5:47pm so make sure to keep an eye on the cam and check back later for another update!
