Sunrise Report

Good morning! There’s a clean and fun-looking log wave on offer right now. Conditions are better than expected, with the buoy reading 2.3 @ 13 seconds,  a touch more energy than we were anticipating this morning. Sets are lining up nicely, and the surface conditions are glassy thanks to light offshore winds. The early session is looking like the standout window of the day. A rising tide through the morning is helping to add a bit of push to the smaller swell, and the wind is cooperating for now, holding offshore and keeping things clean. It’s definitely a great window for longboarding or anyone looking to get a mellow session in while the conditions are still favorable.Winds are forecast to shift onshore into the afternoon, and the swell is expected to slowly back down as the day goes on. So if you’re looking to get wet, earlier is definitely better. Overall, it’s not pumping, but it’s a great day for some clean lines and mellow fun while it lasts, especially with a slower forecast ahead. Worth getting out there while there’s something to work with.
