Good morning! We’ve got another day of solid surf courtesy of Hurricane Erin, and things have kicked up a notch since yesterday. Waves are rolling in at chest to head high, with some solid sets pushing through from the outside. A few of those bombs are making it all the way to the inside, offering some fast, powerful rides. There are plenty of closeouts in the mix, but if you’re patient, you’ll find a few corners holding long, clean lines. As we approach low tide around midday, expect to see some of the bigger sets breaking further out, opening up more opportunities for deeper takeoffs.Winds are expected to pick up a bit by midday, but not enough to completely spoil the fun. Keep an eye on the cams—there’s a chance things could clean up again later this afternoon. Wax up, stay sharp, and get out there, it’s looking like another fun one!
