Sunrise Report

Good morning! The swell from Hurricane Erin has taken a solid step up since yesterday, and it’s showing. The buoys are reading 4.3 feet at 14 seconds, and that longer period is delivering some real energy to the lineup. We’re seeing chest to head high sets, with a bit more push and consistency today. There’s a light NNE wind adding just a touch of texture to the surface, but conditions are still clean enough to make for a really fun and manageable session. Thanks to the long-period nature of the swell, the waves are lining up well and offering some solid open faces — nothing too heavy or out of reach for most surfers. It’s definitely not “massive” yet, but it’s the kind of swell that rewards positioning and timing. This morning is your best window before the wind bumps up into the afternoon and conditions start to break down a bit.
