Sunrise Report

Good morning! There’s still some fun surf in the water this morning. The buoy is holding at 3.3 ft @ 8 seconds, and there’s a clean thigh to waist-high wave breaking across most spots. The wind is light enough right now to keep the surface smooth, and there are some really clean lines coming through with decent shape. It’s soft at times, but every now and then a punchy little set will roll in and surprise you, definitely enough out there to get a few fun ones, especially if you’ve got a board with a little extra foam.

Winds will stay out of the north through the day, keeping conditions mostly side-shore, and the easterly swell is expected to gradually taper off. The tide is dropping through the morning, which should help open things up a bit more and create some better opportunities in the right zones. All in all, this morning looks like your best shot before things get a little more textured and the swell continues to fade.
