Sunrise Report

Good morning and happy Saturday! Some thunderstorms in the area this AM so please check the radar! We are coming off that 4:16am low tide and conditions appear to be coming through around thigh occasionally bigger/smaller. The buoy is currently reading 3.3ft @ 9s and wind is out of the SW/S around ~11 MPH. Smaller surf out there paired with some stronger SW/S winds making conditions less than ideal at the moment. Optimistic, things will improve once this storm rolls out and could offer a window to give it a go. Regardless, best bet would be a log, foamie, or something with a little extra volume to get you in early and maximize that fun factor especially as we move closer to the high tide mark. Keep a close watch on the radar, scope out a few spots, and see if anything is working for you. Starting the day off at one logo with the hopes of a quick window post storm. Swell looks to gradually build later this afternoon while wind looks to hold SW and pick up slightly after lunch. High tide is slotted for 10:07am and the afternoon low tide is set for 4:05pm so make sure to keep an eye on the cam and check back later for another update!
