Sunrise Report

Good morning and happy Saturday! Fair amount of traffic on the beach bright and early for the Wilmington Marathon. Beautiful sunrise to start off the day! We are making our way to that 8:47am low tide and conditions appear to be coming through around shin to knee occasionally bigger/smaller. The buoy is currently reading 1.1ft @ 11s and wind is out of the N/NNE around ~4 MPH. Little wave out there this AM. Cooler temps so it might be a good morning to check a few things off your list. If you are looking to start your day off in the water, grab some neoprene and check a few spots to see what’s working for you. Rides were on the shorter side but occasional sets do roll through offering peeling little lefts and rights. Best bet is a log, foamie, or something with some volume to maximize your fun factor. Starting the day off at one logo. Swell looks to hold pretty consistent throughout the day while wind looks to shift more SE after lunch. High tide is slotted for 2:03pm and the evening low tide is set for 8:42pm so make sure to keep an eye on the cam and check back later for another update!
