Sunrise Report

Good morning and happy Friday! Cooler start to the day compared to the last couple mornings and paired with some stronger winds! We are approaching that early 9:26am high tide and conditions appear to be coming through around thigh to stomach sometimes bigger. The buoy is currently reading 3.9 @ 6s and wind is out of the NE/ NNE around ~12 MPH. Conditions are giving both lefts and rights but appear to be soft and struggle to initially break. However, faces are clean just fairly inconsistent at the moment. If you are looking to start off the day in the water, I would opt for something with some extra foam to get you in early like a log, mid length, or fish. Maybe check a few spots to see if anything is working for you. Giving it one logo for size and potential to improve wind depending. Swell looks to gradually build throughout the day while wind looks to pick-up and shift more E/ESE after lunch. Low tide is slotted for 3:34pm and the evening high tide is set for 10:01pm so make sure to keep an eye on the cam and check back later for another update!
