Sunrise Report

Good morning! Beautiful start to the weekend here on WB! We are coming off that early 5:56am high tide and conditions appear to be coming through around knee occasionally thigh. The buoy is currently reading 2.3 @ 12s and wind is out of the SW/W/WSW around ~4 MPH. Again, that high tide isn’t doing us any favors this AM. Waves are mostly breaking right on shore and shutting down quickly. Might be a good morning to get a few other things checked off your list. If you are looking to start your weekend off in the water, I would opt for a foamie or something packed with some volume and maybe check a few spots to see if anything is working for you. Wind is forecasted to remain light into the early afternoon, so conditions should continue improving as the tide drops. Maybe look to target that mid-morning to early afternoon window. Swell looks to hold consistent throughout the day while wind looks to hold more SW/WSW after lunch. Low tide is slotted for 12:06pm and the evening high tide is set for 6:21pm so make sure to keep an eye on the cam and check back later for another update!
