Good morning! Some cooler temperatures outside as we are approaching that 7:43am high tide and conditions appear to be coming through around chest to head. The buoy is currently reading 6.6ft @ 11s and wind is out of the N/NNE around ~14 MPH. Lingering swell after yesterday’s fun. Those leftovers are definitely a little smaller and paired with some stronger N winds. Saw a couple people already out searching for a gem. They have gotten a couple rides but like yesterday are working hard to get them. Handful of closeouts but those occasional gems roll through that allow you to race down the line and get in a turn or maneuver before everything shuts down. Be prepared for some drift and to duck dive often. Again, please know your limits today! If you are going to give it a go, grab your go to shred sled and check a couple spots to see what’s lining up the best. Swell looks to gradually decrease throughout the day while wind looks to pick-up and hold NNE after lunch. Low tide is slotted for 2:00pm and the evening high tide is set for 8:03pm so make sure to keep an eye on the cam and check back later for another update!
