Good morning! Rainy and gloomy start out front! I still hear some occasional thunder but looks like that rain has moved offshore for the time being. Waves look to be around the thigh to waist range with sets coming in bigger. There’s a lot of water out front causing everything to be super soft and dumping right on shore. Could be some potential there once we ease closer to that 10:33am low tide. Currently wind is SE/ESE around 5-10 MPH but is forecasted to shift to SSW/SW and increase to 20-25 MPH throughout the afternoon. Based on what I’m seeing out front right now, I’d recommend taking a slow morning and target checking the cam again around mid-morning to see if anything is shaping up as the tide lowers. If you are dying to get in the water early this AM, grab a log or foamie and see what you can make of it! Please double check the radar and keep an eye on these storms moving through our area! The swell is forecasted to increase pretty substantially throughout the day as well as the wave period increasing from 7 to 9s . I might be too optimistic but we could have a glimmer of hope as we roll into this evening. The wind is projected to move WSW/W and gradually decrease until dark. So could be a possible window later! Also, eyeing Monday AM for leftovers! Definitely keep an eye on the cam today and make sure to check back for another update!
