Sunrise Report

Good morning and happy Monday! We are on the declining side of the 5:47am high tide and with that waves look to be quite soft coming in around that thigh range with sets being occasionally waist. Conditions were offering both lefts and rights and look to shut down quickly as they mostly broke on the shore. Currently wind is mostly West/WSW around 10+ MPH. For most optimal conditions, I’d wait for the tide to drop some and look to target that mid-morning window with a log, foamie, or maybe even at the right spot, grab a groveler. The wave period is pretty low so I anticipate the waves remaining weak across the board and you’ll want something to get you in early and through any flat spots. Swell is forecasted to drop slightly and wind will remain mostly West/WNW around 8-12 MPH throughout the day. Check a couple of your favorite spots and see which one is working best! Low tide is around 11:59am so keep an eye on the cam and check back later for another update!
