Sunrise Report

Good morning! Couple windows of opportunity popped up yesterday so if you were able to take advantage, I hope you scored a couple fun ones! Little bit of offshore rain this AM but the radar shows everything clearing out by 7am. Waves look to be in the thigh range with sets coming in slightly bigger. The tide is currently dropping with dead low around 10:22am. Wind switches from SW to WSW around 9am so I’d target the mid-morning block to catch light optimal winds and the lower tide. Wind looks to switch back to SW and pick up a touch around lunch so if you do give the afternoon a go, it may have slightly more texture. Current conditions were offering both lefts and rights and appear to be pretty soft. Some of the sets shut down somewhat quickly so I would grab a board with some float to get you in early. Maybe opted for your favorite small wave machine or as always, a log or foamie would get the job done. I’d check a few different spots and see which one is working the best. High tide is around 4:13pm so keep an eye on the cam and check back later for another update! Should be another beautiful day here on WB!
