Good morning and happy Friday! Rain and storms are moving towards us this AM! There was thunder and lightning to the South when I was checking conditions and it was moving closer. Waves look to be in the knee to thigh range and the tide is currently dropping with dead low around 9:23am. There could be potential for an evening session with the chance of rain lessening throughout the day, however, the wind is supposed to pick up slightly and shift dead South after lunch. The primary swell is forecasted to increase throughout the day as well but the wave period is on the weaker side so keep that in mind if you decide to paddle out later. High tide is around 3pm so keep an eye on the cam and check back later for another update! Weekend look ahead: Swell gradually drops across Saturday and Sunday. Watch Saturday early to mid-morning for a slight drop in swell but most optimal light WSW winds with dead low around 10am.
