Good morning and happy Saturday! Please be aware that traffic delays & reroutes are expected this AM around our area for the IRONMAN NC Race! On to the surf, we are just passed that 6:00am low tide and conditions are coming through around the knee to thigh range. The buoy is currently reading 2.6ft @ 5s and wind is out of the NNW/NW around ~10 mph. There’s not too much happening out there at the moment, mostly just breaking right on shore. However, faces are still clean so might be worth checking a spot or two to see if anything is working for you. If you are looking to start your day off in thew water, best bet would be a log, foamie, or something with some volume to maximize your fun factor. Kicking things off at one logo. High tide is slotted for 12:54pm while wind looks to shift more N after lunch. Be sure to check the radar before heading out the door as the chance of rain looks to increase around mid-morning. Have a great day!
