Good morning y’all. Today was a good day to sleep in, as the early morning wind has conditions looking a bit rocky. That being said, the wind is starting to lay down and is currently blowing out of the NE at around 8 mph. We are picking up some mixed swell in the water right now with some lingering long period swell along with some shorter period wind chop. Overall, mid-island sandbars don’t look too great at the moment, but if you are looking to surf and have some patience you may just have a few sets roll through. Enjoy your Sunday and be sure to check back in a while for the Lunchtime Update. Later!
