Hey everyone there are some decent waves behind the shop at the moment. I saw some pretty fun ones with a couple of sections if you have some speed but it is nothing phenomenal by any means. The sets are chest to head range with a stern wind coming out of the north making it chillier than earlier this morning. The wind is blowing 17 miles out of NNE but the pier is helping cover some this wind to the north. This is also causing some closeouts along with funky faces on a couple of them. There is a lot of current but if you paddle in at the right place at the right time you could get some fun waves. The tide is rising so it may get a little fatter or slower in the next hour but once it flips around there may be an opportunity this afternoon if the wind cooperates. I would keep an eye on the cam and check back later for the afternoon update.
