Hey everyone! There’s a lot of swell out behind the shop today because of the heavy tropical storm that’s sitting over Wilmington currently. The buoys are reading 7.2 ft @ 5.5 seconds, with winds blowing hard at 18mph NNE. With the heavy winds the water is super aggressive and all over the place, so the waves are not very clean. No lighting has been seen so far, just rain, wind, and clouds over head. I’d say if you have nothing going on and want some big waves definitely make your way to the beach. Stay safe out there everyone and have a good one.
