Good morning. Waves are mostly in the shin-high range this morning, with an occasional knee high set wave. The buoy is currently showing 1.6 feet at 10 seconds out of the southeast, but with the small size and shallow water, most waves are breaking directly onto the sand. Surface conditions are clean with light morning winds, though south southwest winds are expected to pick up this afternoon and add some texture. It is a tough day of waves overall, but there may be a few small sliders around the lower tide stages for beginners, groms, or a high volume log.
