Sunrise Report: We have some surf with some size and push to it this morning. Long lines coming in. Most are in the shoulder to head high range with some bigger sets over head. Nobody out first thing. Seems like some drift to contend with from North to South but it does look worth paddling out in right now anyway. The wind has a hint of NNW in it keeping it pretty clean early on but there is also a hint of NNE there too. As the sun rises and it warms up it may goe more NNE and give it some chop and texture so surfing earlier might be the best call. Long, grinding lefts and some shorter rights but both look fun. Have a great time but wear enough rubber to stay warm because it's 41 degrees with a wind chill in the low to mid 30's. Weird to see the water almost to the dunes in some places up and down the beach too.

Thanks to everyone for coming out to the 10th Annual Hope From Helen Surf Silent Auction last night. What a great turnout of friends and family. A big "Thank You" goes out to my family for helping, the volunteers, the people who donated, Tower 7 staff, Blockade Runner crew, L and L, Stutz media, and The Midatlantic Band, and Kelly Barnes of Coastal Concierge. With their help it was and amazing team of people to pull off such a large event. Thanks for helping us make a difference.
