Afternoon update

Good afternoon! The wind has picked up, but the surf is still around chest high wave breaking out back with good shape, they just are a bit mushy and tend to close out. The wind is blowing SSE at gusts from 8.1 mph and is causing a decent amount of texture and drift. The tide passed low at 2:30 pm this afternoon. I would get out there if you could the conditions aren’t ideal, but it still looks fun. I would take out something that you could duck dive easily the surf doesn’t look very beginner friendly with sets throwing some pretty random waves and closeouts. Keep an eye on the cams and as always check in later for another surf update.
