Spencer’s Farewell from Sweetwater

My final chapters are coming to an end at Sweetwater Surf Shop. I’ve put in over 11 years of my heart and soul into Sweetwater while maintaining its prominent status in the local community and surf industry. There are too many people to name, and I can’t thank everyone enough for the lessons, advice, insight, business, and relationships formed over the years as my roles progressed within Sweetwater. The values, knowledge, and experience I’ve gained are invaluable, and I thank the entire Bourgeois family for those.

Approximately 5,000 surfboards left through those doors stoking the nation, and I hope to continue to spread that stoke similarly while focusing on my brand, Before Work Surf Club. Let’s say I’ll be surfing before “work” more frequently, and all future surfboard advice comes at the cost of at least a t-shirt purchase now. My last day at the shop will be March 23rd. So swing by the shop for a high five and one last surfboard sale.
