Sunrise Report

(Sweetwater will not be doing the Mid Morning or Lunchtime Update today) Good morning! A mellow start to the day with smaller, fading surf compared to earlier this week, the buoy is showing 2.5 ft at 8 seconds currently. There’s still a bit of energy in the water, offering thigh-high waves that are best tackled with a board that’s got some volume. Onshore winds are already in play, adding some chop and texture to the surface, and they’re expected to strengthen through the afternoon. While conditions are far from perfect, there’s still enough movement out there to sneak in a few playful rides.
