Good morning! Another warmer start to the day here on WB but this time it’s paired with some overcast skies! We’re coming off that 5:56am high tide and conditions appear to be coming through around thigh to waist sometimes bigger/smaller. The buoy is reading 4.3ft @ 6s and wind is out of the S/SSE around ~7 MPH. There is definitely some swell in the water but things aren’t lining up super well at the moment. That higher tide and shorter wave period really isn’t doing us any favors. Conditions appear to be a little tricky but you could find a couple rides out there if you’re patient and put yourself in the right spot. Maybe things will improve around that mid-morning window as the tide lowers. If you are looking to get in the water this AM, best bet would be grabbing something with some float to maximize your fun factor and be sure to check a few spots to see what’s working. Optimistically, starting things off at one logo with the hope that things improve again throughout the morning. Swell looks to build throughout the day while wind looks to hold SSE and pick-up after lunch. Low tide is slotted for 12:20pm and the evening high is set for 5:59pm so make sure to keep an eye on the cam and check back later for another update!
