Good morning and happy Friday! A beautiful start to the day here on WB and there’s definitely swell out front! We’ve just passed that 6:29am high tide and things certainly look it. Conditions appear to be in the waist to stomach range with sets coming through bigger. The buoy is currently reading 3.3ft @ 8s and wind is out of the N/NNE around ~3 MPH. The sets hold potential but it’s a little lully at the moment. However, things are very clean and consistent, the high tide is just making it super mushy and causing things to die out quickly. Right now, it’s pretty hit or miss out there but I believe its only going to improve as we get closer and closer to that 12:56pm low tide. I’d plan to target a mid-morning or lunch time session! If you are looking to get in the water first thing this AM, I would opt for something with some volume to get you in early. Giving it one and half logos for those sets that roll through since there’s potential to score a couple decent rides even with the high tide. Swell looks to build slightly throughout the day while wind shifts more ESE/E after lunch. The evening high tide is slotted for the 6:51pm so make sure to keep an eye on the cam and check back later for another update!
