Good morning! There is definitely something in the water this morning, the set waves still have some good size even though the tide looks to be pretty high already. The waves are rolling in at around knee to thigh high and breaking on the shore. The tide will hit high at 11:01 am and is currently just too high for anything substantial to break. There is a rip current that looks like its pulling pretty aggressively south and the wind is blowing 8.1 mph NNE. The wind is causing some texture and drift, but the size is still there. I would give the ocean some time and let the high tide pass. I think waiting for the lunchtime update would give you a better idea of this afternoon’s conditions. If you did decide to head out this morning, I would grab something with some extra float to combat the chop and find a place with some wind protection!
