Mid-Morning update

Good morning! The waves out back are looking big and fun. They do close out, but you can still make some fun sections. They are around chest to head high on the set waves, and there is a lot of water moving. The period is pretty long and so are the lines causing some close out. The wind has gotten on it early and is blowing at 10.3 mph NNE. The wind makes for some fun makeable sections, but the tide just passed high at 7:38 am so hopefully it should get better if the wind cooperates. There is a rip current pulling towards Mercer pier, but for the most part it was pretty manageable. This morning could be a fun session to catch some big closeouts! Keep an eye on the cam and check in later for another surf update.
