Good afternoon! The waves are looking very fun this afternoon. They are around chest high with long lines and clean faces. We are currently hitting low tide at 12:28 pm this afternoon. The tide draining will allow the swell to really come in and the waves should start to build. It looks like the wind will continue to shift onshore this afternoon, but at the moment it is blowing a little more NW at 4.7 mph. If you were trying to get a session in today, I would try and get out there sooner rather than later, the wind should hold out this afternoon but the next high tide at 6:47 pm might start the drown the surf later on. I think that the waves may be getting a little steeper so a shorter performance board could really do some good with navigating the white water and duck diving. Be safe and mindful of others today the water is packed and check in later for another surf update.
