Afternoon Update

Hey everyone! There is not much happening out back now. Sets continue to be in the knee to thigh high range but are mostly all starting to break on shore due to the rising tide. Tide is going to be full at 4:30pm. The wind is blowing SW at 17mph causing some more chop and drift on the surface. Overall, the waves look pretty slow and crumbly, and the afternoon chop is making it a little bit harder to spot the few good ones that come through and be in the right spot. If you really want to surf now, I would try to go closer to johnnie mercers pier, it looks a little bit better over there. It wouldn’t be the worst idea however to wait it out until later this evening for the wind to die down and the tide to start dropping again.
