Afternoon Update

Hey everyone! It looks like there is still a wave out back as we approach high tide slotted for 5pm. Sets look around thigh to stomach high and occasionally bigger outback. The wind has picked up blowing ENE at 35mph putting lots of chop and drift on the surface. It still looks surfable if you don’t mind a challenging paddle out. Keep the current in mind as well, it is very strong pulling towards south end, so it is tough to stay in the same spot. Not ideal conditions but there could be some fun ones if you really really want to surf. Have a great day and check back tomorrow for more surf updates!
