Your voice has never mattered more!
Join the Offshore Oil Coalition and travel to Raleigh on Monday, Feb. 26th, to bring the power of the coast to Raleigh. Your voice is needed to make a strong statement “NOT OFF OUR COAST” to the federal government’s new draft five-year lease plan for offshore oil and gas exploration, which would devastate our coastal economy, beaches, fishing and vital coastal tourism.
“Rally to Raleigh” chartered buses will depart from three regions of our coast: Wilmington, Morehead City and Nags Head. The bus trips will allow coastal residents, who would be most affected by oil and gas exploration, to travel together to participate in the Bureau of Ocean and Energy Management’s open house in Raleigh. Buses will depart at 12:30 or 1:30 p.m. depending on location and return by 10 p.m. (Please arrive 30 minutes before departure time.) A $10 non-refundable donation is required to reserve your seat and will help us fund this important and critical fight to protect our coast.
