Guppy & Grom Kids Camps – Marine Educator

The Marine Educator position for the Guppy/Grom Full Day Camp programs at WB Surf Camp requires a versatile and service-oriented individual dedicated to delivering transformative ocean experiences focusing on safety and marine science. Based in Wrightsville Beach, NC, the role involves instructing and caring for a group of 16 campers aged 6-11 alongside the leadership team. Responsibilities include marine science instruction, logistical support, van driving, equipment management, and ensuring camper safety.  Desired skills include a master’s degree, wilderness first responder certification, camp experience, surfing skills, and environmental education credentials. Responsibilities encompass implementing program activities, curriculum development, camp setup/breakdown, behavior management, and facilitating educational activities. Compensation includes a summer stipend and pro-deal opportunities, with staff training in early June. Salary : Your stipend for the duration of your summer employment (May 24 – August 16, 2024) will be a total of $5,400.
