Good morning! Beautiful start to the day here on WB! Waves are clean and in the thigh to waist range with sets coming in bigger. There’s still a fair amount of water out there so conditions did appear to be somewhat mushy and soft, especially on the takeoff. But even so, there were lefts and rights to be had and I believe things will only improve as we approach that 9:55am low tide. The primary swell this AM is showing ~2.2ft @ 7s so there is a little bit of a push still out there. Currently the wind is low coming out of the SW/WSW around ~5-10 MPH. It will stay relatively low all day but looks to shift dead South after lunch. I gave it two logos because I think the potential is there for some fun as the tide continues to drop! Maybe start your Saturday off on your favorite small wave machine or something that has a touch of volume to it. Once we get to mid-morning, just grab your go to board and give it a shot! I’d look to target that mid-morning window on either side of the low tide for most optimal tide and wind. Keep an eye on the cam and check back later for another update! Weekend Update: Swell still looks to build significantly throughout Sunday, however, it is paired with strong SW winds. There is a possibility the wind could shift to WSW/W early evening but remains around ~20 MPH. Tag Monday as an option as it continues shaping up!
