We are seeking a Marketing Manager to join our team. The Marketing Manager will have the responsibility of overseeing all facets of WB Live Surf, WB Surf Camp, Sea Turtle Camp, Love to SUP, and SurfBerry’s marketing strategy, including, but not limited to: digital marketing, content creation, branding, social media, advertising, and public relations. Additionally, the Marketing Manager will manage website edits, create graphic designs for digital and physical marketing materials, supervise interns and subcontractors, storyboard, interview, and direct video projects, craft engaging social media posts for our 5 sister brands, and build and maintain an email database. This position is located in the beautiful city of Wilmington, North Carolina.
Skills and Requirements
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field
- 3+ years of experience in marketing, with a confirmed record of constructing and executing successful marketing campaigns
- Expertise in WordPress and graphic design tools, including Adobe Creative Suite and Canva
- Skill managing interns and subcontractors
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create captivating marketing copy
- Google Ad Words Experience and Certification
- Experience and skill in Facebook Marketing and paid promotions
- Solid project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Capacity to comprehend and connect with our target audience.

Responsibilities
- Construct and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy that is in line with overall business objectives by analyzing the market, and customer needs to create a detailed plan of action.
- Plan and execute advertising and promotional campaigns, including print, online, and event marketing, employing the use of SEO, SEM, and PPC to reach the right audiences.
- Oversee website design edits and updates on WordPress platforms, making sure the website is up-to-date and in line with brand guidelines.
- Design graphics for both digital and physical marketing materials, including flyers, brochures, and posters to ensure that all marketing collateral is on-brand and high-quality.
- Storyboard, interview, and direct video projects, ensuring top-notch video content that is informative and engaging.
- Create engaging social media posts for 5 sister brands, including WB Surf Camp, Sea Turtle Camp, Love to SUP, SurfBerry, and WB Live Surf, utilizing the different features of each platform to effectively reach target audiences.
- Assist with maintaining mailing lists, creating internal newsletters/blogs, and archiving files to ensure that all communication is up-to-date and accurate.
- Create and order merchandise, such as apparel and promotional items, to further extend the brand reach.
- Prepare regularly required marketing summaries and plans, providing detailed analytical reports of campaigns for review and evaluation.
