Mid-morning Update:  Still looking pretty fun out there with not too many guys on it early. With all the drift starting it would be a good day to paddle out, do the drift, and let the waves come to you. The paddle out isn't looking too bad either. I saw some peaks that were easily head high or bigger, but the shoulders drop to about stomach high pretty quickly. I saw one guy get a decent little barrel on a right. That isn't the norm out there but it's possible. Now the mood killer; the wind is changing, as I type, to ENE. It was hard NNE while I was out there so not those same clean conditions, but still good fun potential. Have fun if you go.

Congrats to Clifton and Jess Perkins on the birth of their new baby too.  Van Walker Perkins 6 lbs. 13 oz. and 20 3/4 inches.  My wave count in the future is starting to dwindle with all these new groms around 🙂
