Good morning! The last bit of Hurricane Isaias remnants is moving through our area today. Right now, we are making our way to that 8:17am high tide and conditions are coming through around that stomach to chest range. The buoy is currently reading 3.9ft @ 4s and wind is out of the S/SSW around ~12 mph. There’s still some swell in the water this AM and things seem to be lining up better than yesterday that’s for sure but its still a mixed bag out there. It’s a little messy but if you hunt for the right spot, faces are clean and you could even find yourself on a few decent rides to race down the line or get in a quick turn or maneuver. Best bet for those giving it a go this AM would be your go to shortboard and definitely something you can duckdive. Kicking things off at two and half logos! Low tide is slotted for 2:42pm and wind looks to hold SSW and pick some after lunch. There’s still a ton of rain in our area so be sure to check the radar before heading out the door! Stay safe, know your limits, and have a great day!
