Good morning! The swell has filled in nicely overnight, with the buoy currently showing 6.2 feet at 7 seconds out of the east and waves breaking in the chest to head high range. The shorter period is making for some peaky, punchy, and fun-looking waves, with plenty of energy in the lineup. The early morning high tide is messing with the shape a bit, but as the tide drops and the swell continues to fill in throughout the day, conditions should improve and the waves should start standing up better. Overall, today looks like one for the intermediate crowd, with some solid opportunities for fun, rippable waves and maybe even a few tubes if the conditions line up just right.
