Monday Report

Good morning! The buoy is showing 2.6 ft @ 5 seconds out of the South, with waves breaking in the knee to thigh high range. Surf is up a little from yesterday, with the better sets topping out around thigh high this morning. The waves have mostly poor shape and are a bit soft at times, but there are still some rideable sections coming through. Moderate SSW winds are adding plenty of texture to the surface, making for typical summertime conditions. Into the afternoon, the swell is expected to build a touch more, with thigh high surf becoming more common and the chance for an occasional waist high set. Conditions will remain bumpy under moderate SSW winds, but there should still be a few fun peaks if you’re willing to sort through the chop.
