The onshore wind has really taken its toll on the already minimal surf. The buoy is reading 3 ft at 4 seconds, producing short-period windswell. Conditions are choppy and weak, with only ankle-high waves breaking shallow right on the beach. A few sets are trying to break a bit deeper, but they’re soft and hardly surfable. Overall, it’s a tough day for surf and best for a quick paddle or beach walk.
