Good morning and happy Saturday! Beautiful sunrise to start off the day! We are coming off of that 5:22am high tide and conditions appear to be coming through around knee to waist occasionally bigger/smaller. The buoy is currently reading 4.6ft @ 5s and wind is out of the NNE/NE around ~8 MPH. There’s some swell in the water this morning! However, that higher tide and shorter wave period aren’t doing us any favors. Waves out there offering some short softer rides. Might be able to find a couple fun grindy or cruisey ones or if you’re patient a set wave that offers a little bit more. Best bet for early AM is something with a little extra volume to help maximize that fun factor. If you are looking to starting your day off in the water, be sure to scope out a few spots and see if anything is working for you. Optimistically starting the day off at two logos with hopes that things only improve as that tide continues to drop. Swell looks to hold fairly consistent throughout the day while wind looks to shift ENE and pick-up some after lunch. Low tide is slotted for 11:41am and the evening high tide is set for 5:52pm so make sure to keep an eye on the cam and check back later for another update!
