Good morning! Tropical Storm Imelda has delivered, the swell has filled in nicely, and things are really starting to pulse out there. The buoy is reading a solid 6.2 feet at 15 seconds from the SE, and there are legit chest to head-high sets rolling through. It’s definitely a day for more experienced surfers, with powerful waves and some real push behind them. The tide is bottomed out right now, creating some great opportunities on the deeper sandbars. Sets are feathering on the outside and then unloading with punch and precision on the inside, super fun if you’re dialed in and ready to commit. With a steady north wind on tap for most of the day, conditions should stay clean with plenty of good options up and down the coast. Some spots are lighting up more than others, so take a cruise and see what’s working, there are gems out there if you look. And keep your eyes on it, the swell’s only going to keep building as the day goes on.
