Good morning! For updates on all things weather, please check out our new weekly detailed surf analysis tailored specifically to Wrightsville Beach, by expert meteorologist, Mark Willis!! Good morning! The buoys are on the rise, currently reading 4.6 ft at 5 seconds out of the east, and there’s a fun waist-high wave breaking out there. A breezy NE wind is putting some chop on the surface, but it’s not enough to completely ruin the session, there’s still plenty of opportunity to snag something decent. It’s not too drifty at the moment, and every so often a punchy little set lines up just right. With the tide on the rise, this morning’s shaping up to be a solid window to sneak in some waves. Keep an eye on conditions heading into the second half of the day, we’re looking at a little more size filling in and the chance of winds backing off just enough to clean things up. Could be a fun one if it all lines up! keep your expectations in check the wind is nowhere close to perfect.
