Good morning! The buoy is currently reading 1.6 feet at 6 seconds, and we’ve got a small, knee-high wave in the water. The higher tide this morning is definitely putting a damper on things, most waves are breaking soft and right on the sand, making it a bit tricky to find a good one. That said, the tide will be dropping through the morning, which should help improve shape and push the break off the beach a bit. Winds are light for now, but they’re expected to shift south as we head into the afternoon. Your best bet is mid-morning, when the dropping tide and cleaner conditions align for the most manageable window of the day.
