Sunrise Report

Good morning! Another beautiful start to the day here on WB! We are at that mid-tide mark, making our way to that 9:50am low tide and conditions appear to be coming through around thigh bigger/smaller. The buoy is currently reading 2.6ft @ 5s and wind is out of the WSW around ~9 MPH. Some smaller clean surf out there this AM. Offering both short left and right rides but that tide isn’t doing us any favors. Things mostly appear to break right on the shore and look to shut down quickly. Bigger sets do occasionally roll through offering slightly longer rides and a little more to them. Overall the potential could there to find a couple fun ones, either a few cruisey rides or race down the line to get in a quick turn/maneuver. Scope out a few spots and see what’s working for you. Best bet for early AM, your favorite small wave machine with a little extra volume to get you in early and maximize that fun factor. Starting the day off at one logo but optimistic things could improve as the tide continues to lower. Swell looks to stay fairly consistent throughout the day while wind looks to hold more SW/S and pick-up some after lunch. High tide is slotted for 4:11pm so make sure to keep an eye on the cam and check back later for another update!
