Sunrise Report

Good morning and happy Saturday! Cooler start to the day this AM! We are just passed that 5:16am high tide mark and conditions appear to be coming through around knee to thigh occasionally bigger/smaller. The buoy is currently reading 3.6ft @ 5s and wind is out of the NNE/N around ~9 MPH. Small clean waves offering both short left and right rides but that high tide isn’t doing us any favors. Bigger sets do occasionally roll through offering slightly longer rides to cruise down the face. Best bet for early AM would be a log, foamie, or something with a little extra volume to maximize that fun factor. Maybe scope out a few spots and see if anything is working for you. Starting the day off at one logo and hopeful things could slightly improve as the tide starts to drop but it’s wind depending. Swell looks to stay fairly consistent throughout the day while wind looks to shift more SSE/SE and pick-up some after lunch. Low tide is slotted for 11:27am and the evening high tide is set for 5:49pm so make sure to keep an eye on the cam and check back later for another update!
