NNW winds are settling in behind Monday’s front, easing up and becoming more variable through the afternoon. The morning brings some inviting leftovers, with thigh to waist—occasional stomach—high surf holding on the outgoing tide. There’s still a touch of southerly swell hanging around, offering fun, rideable waves before the energy starts to back off.
Expect a light side-texture in spots early, but conditions improve if you make the trek to more south-facing breaks—definitely worth the drive if you’re chasing cleaner lines. Locally, it’s still plenty playful and worth getting wet.
Size tapers through the day, but early PM on the low-to-incoming tide still has potential for cruisy rides. Just note: things slow down heading into the late PM high tide, so grab your session before then!
